Katherine studied BA Hons Government and European Union Studies at Newcastle University, with a year at the University of Mannheim in Germany studying political science and German language.
She has work experience with the European Parliament in Brussels with Fiona Hall, then an MEP; as a Project Manager at a global translation firm, going on to an engagement and consultancy role at an international development charity where she spearheaded the creation and development of a Goodwill Ambassador Programme.
She subsequently held a researcher role at a leading London-based public affairs agency working across a broad variety of sectors at UK and EU level.
Katherine joined the Health team in September 2015 and is currently managing Chronic Pain Policy Coalition as well as the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Assistive Technology, which launched formally in March 2017.
When she isn’t at work Katherine enjoys being in the countryside and is a keen walker and gardener. She also enjoys travelling, languages and baking.
