Policy Connect has been proud to provide the secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Climate Change Group (APPCCG) since 2015. We have been privileged to support the Chair Caroline Lucas MP and APPCCG Officers to hold vital and impactful discussions, including welcoming Greta Thunberg for a meeting with party leaders, and showcasing Parliamentary consensus for global change at COP26.

Throughout this time, we have benefited greatly from the support of our members and we would like to thank them for your help in keeping climate change high on the political agenda.

After seven years as the APPCCG’s secretariat, Policy Connect and the Chair and Officers of the group mutually agreed that the appointment of a new secretariat will provide the APPCCG with renewed momentum to take its important work to the next level in the run-up to 2030.

The organisation Uplift, founded by the international climate change and human rights lawyer, campaigner and strategist, Tessa Khan, will be taking on the secretariat function of the APPCCG.
