Project Coordinator (Accessibility Policy) [part-time]

Overview

  • Job Title: Project Coordinator (Accessibility Policy)
  • Reporting to: Director of the ATech Policy Lab
  • Location: Westminster, London (hybrid working – minimum 1 day per week in the office during the probationary period)
  • Pay and Contract
    • Part-time, 17.5 hours per week (0.5 of a full-time role). We do not have a fixed shift pattern and are open to flexible working arrangements.
    • £26,936-£32,000 depending on experience and pro-rated to the hours of work
    • Fixed-term contract for 12 months, with a 3-month probationary period. Possibility to extend the contract or convert it into a permanent contract at the end of the 12-month period.
    • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Policy Connect is unable to sponsor a visa for this role.
  • Dates and deadlines
    • The closing date for applications is Sunday 19 July 2026 (23:59)
    • Interviews will be held between 27 and 31 July, in our London Office, or remotely where required.
    • Start date: as soon as possible

About the role

Policy Connect is looking for an ambitious Project Coordinator for a stimulating and impactful position within our accessibility policy team, focussing on assistive and accessible technology (ATech).

Our work on ATech policy is conducted by producing research reports with recommendations to government, organising meetings of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for ATech (held in the House of Commons and House of Lords), and delivering policy workshops as part of our ATech Policy Lab.

Person requirements

Essential

  1. Passion for disability policy and interest in technology policy.
  2. Strong organisational and project management skills.
  3. Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  4. Excellent writing and desk-research skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information and present it with concision and clarity.
  5. Able to work autonomously (i.e. exploiting opportunities and solving problems, while also making considered judgements about how and when to enlist support and guidance from more experienced colleagues).

Desirable

  1. Experience of working in a policy or public affairs environment.
  2. Experience of working in the technology or disability sectors.
  3. Experience of organising public events.
