A special joint meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Groups on Climate Change, Compassion in Politics and Renewable & Sustainable Energy

Hosted by Channel 4’s Krishnan Guru-Murthy, this interactive discussion will look at:

  • Prospects for UK economic recovery
  • Building a secure, resilient and prosperous nation
  • How we pay for the recovery

The discussion will feature panelists, including:

  • Prof Sir Michael Marmot (Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at UCL)
  • Sir David King (former Government Chief Scientist)
  • Prof Mariana Mazzucato (Founding Director of the UCL Institute for Innovation & Public Purpose)
  • Prof Tim Jackson (Professor of Sustainable Development and Director of the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity)

Following the opening discussion, there will also be an opportunity for Parliamentarians to ask questions of the panel.
