The All-Party Parliamentary Group will be hosting the launch of the Higher Education Commision’s report into Degree Apprenticeships.

The Higher Education Commission is an independent body made up of leaders from the education sector, the business community and the three major political parties. The Commission examines higher education policy, holds evidence-based inquiries, and produces written reports with recommendations for policymakers.

Since their roll-out, degree apprenticeships have been widely cited as a means of increasing productivity and social mobility. A flagship policy for the Government, this report explores the viability of these aspirations and the challenges facing employers and providers. The report also provides clear recommendations for realising the widely held ambitions for this provision.
