The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Data and Emerging Technologies and the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Skills, Careers & Employment will hold a joint event examining the Government’s reframing of AI policy around British companies, workers and communities.

Chaired by Daniel Zeichner MP, the session will consider the Trades Union Congress’ argument that AI adoption remains shallow, and productivity gains limited, because workers are too often excluded from decisions about how these technologies are introduced in the workplace.

The discussion will explore how AI can be adopted in ways that support productivity while also giving workers a meaningful role in shaping its use.

Speakers will be announced shortly.
