To mark one year since publishing the Bricks & Water report into housing growth and water management, the Westminster Sustainable Business Forum will be convening this panel discussion to look at how we can increase the resilience on our communities through water efficiency, flood resilience and urban green space.

It will review the findings from the roundtable series run since Bricks & Water was published in June 2018, which explored water scarcity, public attitudes towards water use, increasing the roll-out of SUDS and re-thinking our approach to flooding.

The event will be chaired by Baroness McIntosh of Pickering. Speakers on the panel include Luke Pollard MP, Shadow Minister for Flooding and Coastal Communities; Rachel Fletcher, CEO of Ofwat; Emma Howard Boyd, Chair of the Environment Agency; and Chris Stark, CEO of the Committee on Climate Change. Additional speakers tbc.

Please email Jo Furtado at joanna.furtado@policyconnect.org.uk if you’d be interested in attending.
