The All-Party Parliamentary Climate Change Group (APPCCG) is launching an innovative Climate Policy Dashboard to track the Government’s progress in key sectors of the economy against policy recommendations made in the last 12 months by the Committee on Climate Change (CCC).

Date & Time: Thursday, 11th of May @ 15:00 – 16:30

The event will be chaired by Tom Heap, Rural Affairs Correspondent of the BBC, with speakers;

Dr Alan Whitehead MP (Lab) – Shadow New Deal and Energy Minister

Dr Caroline Lucas MP (Green) – Member of the Environmental Audit Committee & Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Climate Change

Alexander Stafford MP (Con) – Member of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee

Daisy Cooper MP (Lib Dem)  Vice-Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Climate Change

With the COP26 talks fast approaching we are left asking; how ready is the UK to host these crucial climate talks? How do our targets compare to the actions the government has taken on climate policy and how prepared are we to become a global leader on climate change?

The easy-to-use Climate Policy Dashboard is available for anyone interested in climate policy to explore a summary of each sector’s policy targets and developments. The tool shows where each sector is excelling and falling behind on climate action, gives key recommendations for meeting targets, and will be updated as new policies are announced on the road to COP26.

Please register your place on Zoom via this link and join us for the launch.
