Co-benefits of a net zero transition: Climate change and energy efficiency

Joint meeting of the All-Party Fuel Poverty and Energy Efficiency Group (FPEEG) and the All-Party Climate Change Group (APPCCG)

The meeting aims to brief members of both APPGs on the BEIS Committee inquiry on energy efficiency report and the Climate Change Committee Net Zero report. Representatives from both Committees have been invited to speak. Members will also hear from the Energy Efficiency Infrastructure Group (EEIG) and Sarah Newton MP will brief members on her Ten Minute Rule Bill – Reaching net zero carbon and improving home energy efficiency. The floor will then be opened to questions and discussion chaired by Caroline Lucas.
