Policy Connect is partnering with Kent Further Education (KFE) to host a Westminster reception formally launching the vision and ambition of the South East Construction Technical Excellence College (SECETEC).

Led by North Kent College, through the Kent Further Education strategic partnership with EKC Group and MidKent College, SECETEC will strengthen collaboration across the Further Education and skills sector in the South East. Working closely with construction industry partners, employer representative bodies and wider stakeholders, the programme will drive a step change in the quality, scale and consistency of construction skills provision across the region — helping to meet growing workforce demand linked to major infrastructure projects and ambitious housing delivery targets.

Hosted by Lord Knight of Weymouth, the reception will bring together MPs from across the South East, Department for Education and Skills England officials, employers and sector leaders to celebrate this significant milestone and highlight the role of employer-led technical education in supporting regional growth and national infrastructure priorities.

This event is kindly sponsored by South East CTEC and NOCN.
