Policy Connect and the Higher Education Commission are hosting a parliamentary event to launch a new report – Digitally enhanced blended learning: leveraging the benefits of technology in Higher Education’. The launch event will showcase the findings of a year-long-inquiry that has examined current practice and explored how the HE sector can elevate current practice to fully realise the affordances of technology for education.

Through research and public consultation, we have developed sector-focused policy recommendations aimed at support students and staff to leverage the benefits of technology-enabled learning. The launch will feature the unveiling of these recommendations and serve as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and advocacy for imagining a higher education system fit for the 21st century.

Chaired by Lord Norton of Louth, the launch will also feature contributions from:

  • Barry Sheerman MP, Labour (Co-op)
  • Professor Kathryn Mitchell, Vice Chancellor, University of Derby (Co-chair of HE Commission).
