The APPG for Sustainable Resources is holding an event in parliament on ‘What’s next for sustainable resources policy?’. The discussion will be chaired by APSRG chair Barry Sheerman MP.

Amidst continued uncertainty about the implementation of the Resources and Waste Strategy, recent government climate announcements suggest this is a timely moment to discuss the future of sustainable resource policy in the UK and how the APPG should set its events and research programme to best inform policy priorities as we enter a General Election year.

Discussing recent changes to the Government’s net zero approach and the sustainable resources priorities of Britain’s political parties, this event will explore the obstacles and opportunities influencing your organisation’s delivery of key sustainability priorities.

The insights from the discussion will serve as the basis of a policy brief for parliamentarians to inform wider sustainability policy.
