APDIG and CHEAD Series: Art and Design Research Applied to the UK's Grand Challenges

The All-Party Parliamentary group for Design and Innovation (APDIG): Second roundtable in CHEAD series Realising Art and Design Research in Policy Making Decisions. This roundtable will be held on 9th December 10:00-11:30 via Zoom and will be chaired by APDIG co-chair John Howell, MP for Henley.

This second roundtable, titled, Arts and Design Research: Applied to the UK’s Grand Challenges, will bring together experts to combine the evidence for Art and Design research and Arts research methodologies and discuss how this can be integrated with and help tackle the biggest challenges faced by the UK, such as health crises, climate crisis, digital transformation, social issues, EDI, and more.

Confirmed speakers include Dr Rhiannon Jones, Post-Doctoral Researcher, Derby University; Dr Catherine Baker, Associate Professor | Interdisciplinary Practice, Birmingham School of Art; and Dr Kirk Woolford, Principal Research Fellow in Creative Technologies, Anglia Ruskin University.
