In Conversation with Lord Bilimoria of Chelsea
On Tuesday, Policy Connect’s CEO, Claudia Jaksch hosted an online Q&A event with crossbench Peer and Manufacturing Commission Chair, Lord Bilimoria of Chelsea.
The conversation (held under the Chatham House rule) was wide-ranging and began with Lord Bilimoria’s insight into current General Election polling and the reasons for changing attitudes towards the main political parties. Lord Bilimoria went on to set out his position on industrial strategy, fiscal policy, the circular economy, education and skills, immigration, and EDI. Questions for Lord Bilimoria were kindly submitted from organisations across Policy Connect’s stakeholder network, including Made in Britain, the University of Derby, Contracts Engineering, and the High-Value Manufacturing Catapult.
