Digital Inclusion and Disability: from pandemic response to a strategic approach

The ATech Policy Lab held a hybrid roundtable, hosted by Plexal, and in partnership with Tech London Advocates, Tech for Disability group, at London Tech Week on digital inclusion for disabled people.

The roundtable discussed putting digital inclusion on a sustainable footing and brought together a diverse group of stakeholders from the worlds of tech, disability and policy.

The speakers were 

• Gosia Kwiatkowska, Co-director and Senior Lecturer, RIX Centre, University of East London

• Ajay Choksi, Self-advocate and peer trainer

• Gen Ashley, Chief Partnership Officer, OpenUK

• Helen Milner OBE, Group Chief Executive, Good Things Foundation.

The roundtable was chaired by Shamima Akhtar, Policy Coordinator for ATech.
