The All-Party Parliamentary Health Group partnered with the University of Greenwich, Brunel University London, and Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust to present emerging findings from p_ART_icipate, an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded Digital Creative Health project at a parliamentary roundtable on 4 November.

Chaired by Dr Simon Opher MP, the session explored how digital creative practices can support wellbeing through inclusive, ethical and accessible participation in the arts. Contributors highlighted how digital platforms can widen access to creative engagement, particularly for people facing barriers related to geography, mobility, disability or social isolation.

The roundtable discussed recommendations to strengthen national access to digital creative health, using the arts to improve wellbeing through inclusive, ethical, and accessible hashtag digital participation.

Attendees also heard insightful presentations from:

  • Dr Oliver Gingrich
  • Claire Grant
  • Professor Dominik Havsteen-Franklin
  • Natasha Trotman MCSD
  • Dr Daniel Hignell-Tully
