Helen O’Sullivan is Professor of Medical Education and Deputy Vice Chancellor and Provost at University of Chester with a particular interest in online and digital education.

She is the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) and a member of Jisc’s Senior Education and Student Experience Group. She recently completed a term as a member of the Advance HE Board and having previously been one of the co-conveners of Advance HE’s DVC/PVC Network, she is now a co-convener of the Provost/DVC Network.

In 2020, she chaired a task and finish group for UUKi that resulted in the publication “Building the global reputation and delivery of UK transnational online higher education” and in 2022-3, she chaired the Steering Group that reviewed and relaunched the Professional Standards Framework.
