Sustainability 
Aakash is on a PhD placement with Policy Connect from February to May 2026. He is supporting the Sustainability team on the fifth Bricks and Water inquiry on water resources and reuse.
He is currently in his third year of his PhD with co-supervision from Queen Mary University of London and King’s College London, focusing on coastal adaptation in England. He also holds a BA in Economics from Michigan State University, MSc in Accounting, and MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management from the University of Manchester. He worked in public accounting as an auditor for 2 years and as an environmental economist for one year.
Outside of work, Aakash enjoys playing tennis, running, and traveling.
