Project Coordinator
Abigail Chapman-Miller

Abigail joined Policy Connect in September 2026 as the Project Coordinator to the Accessibility Policy Team.

Influenced by her own personal experience of disability, Abigail has been dedicated to building accessibility and inclusion into communities, spaces, business and wider society throughout her career with the aim that nobody gets left behind. She has previously worked for County Councils, the NHS, St John Ambulance and Grassroots charities as well as taking on voluntary roles from trusteeships to Chairing the Disability Advisory Group for Surrey Police, supporting its founding.

Abigail academically is from a design background, first studying Graphic & Media Design, specialising in communications for change before going onto her MA in Design for Social Innovation and Sustainable Futures at University of Arts London. In her MA, Abigail both specialised in accessible design, and founded a social initiative dedicated to improving accessibility in the community which has led her to become a multi-award-winning founder, public speaker and community leader.

Outside of work, you’ll find Abigail loves to stay busy! Whether that’s by serving her local community as the Vice Chair of a Parish Council, guest lecturing, paying it forward as a mentor to students, or telling her story on stage to inspire change. In her downtime, you’ll find her living on a farm with an ever-growing number of animals spending time with friends and family or at a museum or two!
