Becky joined Policy Connect from a charity and nursing background in January of 2021 and left in May 2022. As Head of Health she was responsible for the overall strategic management of the Health team including the APPG for Health, Policy Connects health projects and Carbon Monoxide.
As part of Becky’s role, she facilitated the work of the APPG for Health. In addition she managed a policy working group for the ImprovE-ACT research project with Manchester Metropolitan University.
Becky has a BSc in Biology and another in Health and Social Care. She holds an MSc in Public Health and completed a dissertation examining the impact of climate change on the health of older adults.
Outside work, she acts an independent advisor to a University of Surrey project using primary care data for early pancreatic cancer diagnosis. In her spare time, Becky is a governor at a local school. She also enjoys sea swimming and reading.
