Policy Intern
Freya Bogdanovic

Freya joined Policy Connect in June 2026 as a Policy Intern, supporting the Health Policy and Industry, Technology and Innovation Policy teams.

She is currently completing an MSc in Public Policy at King’s College London, where her dissertation examines the use of artificial intelligence in UK healthcare. Her research focuses on the ethical and epistemic challenges posed by the integration of ‘black box’ AI systems into medical decision-making, exploring how emerging technologies can be implemented responsibly and effectively within healthcare settings. Alongside her studies, Freya is an active member of the King’s College London Diplomacy Society, participating in embassy visits and policy discussions on contemporary international and diplomatic issues.

Freya holds a First-Class BA in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Birmingham. Her academic background in political philosophy underpins her interest in public policy and the ethical implications of policy development, particularly in relation to emerging technologies and healthcare innovation.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking and travelling.
