Gareth Hadley is Chair of Council at the General Optical Council.
He has over thirty years’ experience as a senior leader in politically sensitive and highly visible 24/7 service industries with complex stakeholder relations.
His previous roles have included: Director of Personnel, Her Majesty’s Prison Service; Employee Relations Director, British Rail; and member of the External Advisory Board at the Centre for Better Managed Health and Social Care, Cass Business School.
