Policy intern
Hela Younis

Hela joined Policy Connect in June 2025 as an intern, contributing to projects and research across our five teams.

Hela is completing her BSc (Hons) in International Social and Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she has developed a strong understanding of policy and robust qualitative and quantitative research skills. She aims to complete her degree with a specialism in Development.

Alongside her studies, Hela is the Neurodivergent and Disabled Students’ Officer at her Student Union, representing and advocating on behalf of students to key stakeholders in the university. From this role, Hela has informed various projects on Digital Accessibility, Academic Policy and EDI, which has deepened her passion for addressing Disability issues.

Outside of work, Hela enjoys exploring café’s and restaurants, and finding the best croissants in London.
