Jasmin joined Policy Connect in January 2022. She is the Senior Policy & Research Manager for Health at Policy Connect, where she leads the secretariat engagement of All-Party Parliamentary Group for Health and oversees the organisation’s wider health policy portfolio. She provides strategic leadership for parliamentary engagement, policy research, and stakeholder collaboration, managing the Health team to deliver impactful, evidence-based recommendations that inform national health policy.
Jasmin’s work focuses on tackling health inequalities and advancing inclusive, data-driven policy. Before her current role, Jasmin served as Policy Manager, whereby she was also names as a co-author of the NIHR-funded IMPROVE-Act report on the experiences of Black men detained under the Mental Health Act. She has also led the development of research projects on access to primary care and secured new partnerships to expand Policy Connect’s health research portfolio.
Jasmin holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from the University of Essex and an MSc in Public Health from Imperial College London. She speaks English, German, and Yoruba, and has a strong interest in global health equity and international health policy.
Outside of work, Jasmin enjoys baking and travelling.
