Max Bishop

Max joined Policy Connect in April 2026 as a Researcher in the Education and Skills Team.  

He previously worked for Great Places Housing Association in Manchester supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable populations access housing through supported housing schemes. Most recently, Max worked as a Parliamentary Intern to Bridget Phillipson MP where he conducted constituent casework and surveys, with a focus on improving participation and representation.  

Max holds an MSc in International Social and Public Policy from the LSE and a BA in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Manchester. While at university, he focused on supply and demand side interventions to tackle educational disparities related to race, gender, sexuality, socio-economic status and geography.  

Outside of work, he enjoys playing and watching football, running, and films and TV.
