APPCOG will be facilitating an open discussion on the uses of smart alarms data by external organisations during home visits. This will include a discussion around possible uses for this data in advancing CO Safety, as well as any obstacles (e.g. data protection concerns) to accessing this data and how these can be best managed.

At this stage this will be a fairly informal discussion and is open to all. Depending on the conclusions from this, we may follow this up with a Parliamentary event/roundtable, but this will naturally depend on clear policy opportunities being identified.

A full agenda and dial-in details will be circulated closer to the time. In the meantime if you have any questions, or know of anyone else who might be interested/benefit from being included in this discussion, please just drop me an email at nathaniel.shaughnessy@policyconnect.org.uk.
