Lord Shinkwin will chair the launch of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Assistive Technology‘s new report on disability, employment, and Assistive Technology.

The report explores how employment services can be improved to make access to ATech part of the everyday delivery of support for disabled people. This comes in the context of the Government’s ‘Get Britain Working’ White Paper which announced the creation of a new “jobs and careers service” and £115million for new s supported employment programmes.

Spaces remain available to attend the launch event in Parliament – please contact Robert McLaren (robert.mclaren@policyconnect.org.uk) if interested in attending. The report has been kindly sponsored by the Ian Karten Charitable Trust.
