Alarms are an essential layer of protection against carbon monoxide poisoning, the ‘silent killer’.

However, gaps in the regulation and enforcement of carbon monoxide safety leave most UK residents unprotected.

Hosted by Paul Davies MP, the new chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Carbon Monoxide Group, this parliamentary roundtable will review progress following the 2022 changes to alarms regulations; critical gaps, such as unprotected spaces, lacking compliance, and vulnerable groups; and how government can close regulatory gaps in the future of carbon monoxide safety policy.

Speakers currently include Justice for Tenants and Safelincs. The event will conclude with a panel discussion involving all participants.

Spaces are limited; for more information, and if you would like to join the event, please contact gaelan.komen@policyconnect.org.uk.
