All Party Parliamentary Carbon Monoxide Group (APPCOG) Ofgem five year funding for Carbon Monoxide Safety Projects

Ofgem is introducing a new ‘use it or lose it’ fund (the ‘VCMA’) to incentivise and enable Gas Distribution Networks (GDNs) to undertake projects to promote CO safety and help vulnerable customers. In this meeting, the APPCOG heard from Nigel Winnan from Wales and West Utilities on project eligibility and the GDNs progress with collaborative planning. The group will explore how policy makers and wider stakeholders can support these efforts to improve CO safety. The meeting was chaired by Barry Sheerman MP.
