The All-Party Parliamentary Manufacturing Group and Make UK are hosting their annual summer reception in Parliament.

The reception will be held under the theme “Digitalise to Decarbonise” and coincide with the launch of an eponymous Make UK policy report.

The report looks at how digitalisation and decarbonisation must go hand-in-hand in the manufacturing sector to achieve sustainability, resilience, and net zero targets. The event will provide an opportunity to examine the relationship between industrial digital technologies and sustainability, and to explore key actions and pathways that must be taken to support the sector and ensure net zero targets are achieved.

Speakers:

  • The Rt Hon Graham Stuart MP, Minister for Energy Security and Net Zero at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero
  • Nat Macaulay, Managing Director at JCM Fine Joinery and Vice-chair of the Make UK West Midlands Regional Advisory Board
