Following the launch of First Point of Care: A Plan for a Better NHS Front Door through Connected Primary Care in September, the All-Party Parliamentary Health Group (APHG) is progressing the next phase of its work to advance the report’s recommendations.
As part of this, the APHG will convene a focused roundtable with James Frith MP, Minister with responsibility for dentistry and eyecare, alongside the inquiry’s parliamentary co-chairs and key stakeholders.
This ministerial discussion will focus on NHS dentistry and optometry, exploring practical opportunities to take forward the report’s recommendations, address challenges in accessing these essential services and support the Government’s ambitions to strengthen primary care and neighbourhood health services.
The roundtable forms part of the APHG’s ongoing engagement with ministers and stakeholders to translate the inquiry’s findings into meaningful policy action.
