The All-Party Parliamentary Carbon Monoxide Group (APPCOG) is delighted to be hosting the Gas Safety Week 2019 launch in parliament on Wednesday 11th September, ahead of the campaign week which will run from 16th to the 22nd.

Hosted by Barry Sheerman MP (Co-chair of the APPCOG), the launch will see the coming together of UK wide orgainsations, colleagues from across the gas industry and parliamentarians in support of promoting gas safety and warning against its related risks. This year marks the ninth annual Gas Safety Week, raising awareness of the dangers of poorly maintained gas appliances which can cause gas leaks, fires, explosions and carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. The theme for Gas Safety Week 2019 is supporting vulnerable people.
