Parliamentary Inquiry Session: CO Safety in Health and Social Care

The APPCOG is conducting a parliamentary inquiry chaired by Liz Twist MP, to explore the ways in which frontline health and social care workers can best be protected from exposure to carbon monoxide (CO) when delivering domiciliary care.

The first parliamentary session will explore health and social care professionals (HSCPs) current levels of awareness of CO risk, and identify any specific CO safety practices in health and social care. Additionally, it will seek to establish what general health and safety measures are commonly in place to protect HSCPs from risk when delivering domiciliary care, for example safety training and risk assessments.
