The ‘Prepare, Practice, Protect: Improving Carbon Monoxide Safety in Health and Care Services’ report follows an inquiry that examined the extent to which frontline health and social care professionals (HSCPs) are aware of and protected from carbon monoxide, to determine how improvements can be made in an effective, manageable, and practical way.

The All-Party Parliamentary Carbon Monoxide Group inquiry connected with over 100 health and care sector professionals and the recommendations have been carefully considered, to ensure the right balance is struck between action by sector leaders, local authorities, central government, employers and service providers, and individual practitioners.

The inquiry was chaired by Liz Twist MP, and sponsored by SGN, Cadent, NGN, Wales and West Utilities, the Gas Industry Safety Group and the CO Research Trust.

Speakers:

  • Liz Twist MP
  • Laura Fatah, report author
  • Adrian McConnell, Chief Exec, CO Research Trust

The Parliamentary launch event is kindly sponsored by the CO Research Trust.
