APMG roundtable: Future of Manufacturing Trade
The All Party Parliamentary Manufacturing group APMG are delighted to invite you to a roundtable on the future of international manufacturing trade. It will be held on the 14th December 10:00 – 12:00 via zoom and chaired by Jack Dromey MP, co-chair of the APMG, MP for Erdington and Shadow Cabinet Office minister.
The purpose of this session is to generate wider discussion around UK’s wider trade policy and what and integrate UK manufacturing trade strategy will look like. We will build on recent discussions on the UK EU TCA and attempt to capture what export opportunities await Britain in its wider Foreign Trade Agreements as it pertains to keeping the UK as a global player. In particular we expect the discussion to focus on the UK’s relationship with US industry. The attendees will be a mix of UK, US and other economy businesses as well as trade bodies, association, parliamentarians and civil servants.
Speakers include the CBI.
Additionally, the APMG are still interviewing members for the International Trade Committee’s call for evidence. If you are interested in being interviewed, please do not hesitate to reach out.
If you are interested in attending, please do not hesitate to reach out to Floriane.fidegnon [at] policyconnect.org.uk , Head of Industry, Technology and Innovation.
