Introducing the Health Security Agency
The impact of infectious diseases like Covid-19, our changing climate, biological threats and wider health risks have made us all more aware of how important it is to feel health secure.
As the nation’s new health security agency, UKHSA brings together world-leading science, data analytics and operational expertise, and partners with industry, academia and government to prepare for, prevent and respond to the health threats we face – globally, regionally and locally.
This is an opportunity to hear more about the agency from chief executive Jenny Harries, and UKHSA colleagues, who will be on hand to answer your questions on Covid-19 and other issues affecting the UK’s health security.
Speakers include:
UKHSA Chief Executive Prof Jenny Harries
UKHSA Director General, Data and Analytics, Prof Steven Riley
UKHSA Chief Scientific Advisor, Prof Isabel Oliver.
This is a closed event, open to Parliamentarians only. If you have any questions, to register or for more information please contact becky.rice [at] policyconnect.org.uk
