Public Use of AI
Policy Connect and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Data Analytics are partnering with the Public Law Project to host a panel event on the ‘Public Use of AI’. AI and automation are likely to transform the state over the coming years and beyond. These systems are already being used across the public sector, from welfare to health and social care to immigration. Join us as we bring together experts from across civil society, academia, and parliament, to discuss what the future of the Government use of data and automation should look like, and how we can make that future safe and fair. We will also be discussing government’s plan on AI regulation and the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill.
The session will be chaired by Lord Clement-Jones.
Speakers include:
- Daniel Zeichner, MP
- Lord Holmes of Richmond
- Alex Lawrence-Archer, AWO Legal
- Elliot Jones, Ada Lovelace Institute
- Mia Leslie, Public Law Project
- Stephen Almond, Information Commissioner's Office
- Roger Taylor, Former Chair of CDEI
