Unpacking the Circular Economy: Sustainable Resources in the New Government

10:00 - 12:30

Policy Connect and the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Sustainable Resources (APSRG) are pleased to invite you to join us for this parliamentary event exploring what the future of sustainable resources policy should be under the new Government.

We are delighted to be joined by Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Mary Creagh MBE MP, who will deliver a keynote speech as part of the event’s agenda.

The event will be chaired by Labour MP and Chair of the APSRG, Tristan Osborne MP, and will draw together parliamentarians, experts from across the sustainable resources community, government policymakers and more to explore priorities for the waste and resources sector in the new Parliament and next steps to promote sustainable resources and a circular economy across the UK.

Following the APSRG’s most recent research inquiry and policy report, "Unpacking the Circular Economy: Unlocking Reuse at Scale", produced under the last Government, this event also seeks to focus on 'what's next' for advancing the circular economy through reusable packaging to build on the findings and recommendations for the new Government.

Event discussion will help to inform the direction of Policy Connect and the APSRG programme of work to support the delivery of a more circular economy for the UK.
