GAMBICA and Made in Britain join the APMG
The All-Party Parliamentary Manufacturing Group is pleased to announce GAMBICA and Made in Britain as the latest supporters of the APPG.
GAMBICA is the UK Trade Association for Instrumentation, Control, Automation and Laboratory Technology, providing insight and influence help their members to be more competitive by increasing their knowledge and impact. By working together they remove barriers and maximise the market potential in the industry. They acheive this by forming a community of members and stakeholders that shares knowledge and best practice, shapes opinion and enhances the profile of the sector, influences policy, standards and regulation for the benefit of industry, publishes unique market reports and forecasts, allowing members to accurately plan future strategies and budgets and helps members develop business by promoting our industry through exhibitions, events, publications and media campaigns. GAMBICA members are active in the industrial automation, process instrumentation & control, test & measurement and the laboratory technology sectors.
On joining, Chief Executive Steve Brambley said: “GAMBICA has been able to offer significantly more value to our members by being a collaborative association that works with other organisations to create a broad network with greater influence and the benefit of shared knowledge. Made in Britain helps Britain’s manufacturers to grow. It provides support to its members in sales, marketing, PR and export. Buyers and procurement professionals use the Made in Britain directory to find suppliers. Made in Britain broadcasts news from its membership via the website and social media; it holds regular member events featuring expert speakers. These events are held at members’ premises and provide valuable opportunities to network and build contacts.Information and advice about sales, marketing PR and export is available to read, watch and download from the members area of the website. The official Made in Britain mark is protected and can only be used by members of the organisation. Its distinctive design represents the best of British manufacturing and stands for quality, reliability and value. Members deliver great customer service, sustainability and transparency in their businesses.
