Minister for Water and Flooding, Emma Hardy MP, has responded to Policy Connect’s recent Bricks and Water report, following a Parliamentary Question from inquiry vice-chair, Helen Morgan MP.  The Minister thanked Policy Connect for the inquiry and said that the Government will consider its findings as it reviews its policies on flooding and coastal erosion.

Minister Hardy went on to confirm that the Government will be launching a review of the current funding formula for flood defences in the Spring and had also recently commissioned an independent review of Property Flood Resilience.
