Claudia Jaksch, MBA
As Chief Operating Officer, Claudia provides strategic direction and operational oversight to the organisation and advises the Board of Directors on key strategic issues relating to Policy Connect's financial, administrative and HR capabilities. She is also Company Secretary.
As Head of the Sustainability department, Claudia oversees all of Policy Connect's sustainability-themed work on energy and climate change, the circular economy and sustainable resources, the built environment, natural capital and infrastructure.
Claudia holds a Masters degree in International Political Economy from King's College London and a Bachelor's degree in European Studies from the University of Passau, Germany. More recently she also completed an Executive MBA with Warwick Business School, Warwick University.
Claudia regularly returns to Warwick Business School as a guest lecturer and also currently serves as a panel member expert for the Capstone Project Module at King's Business School, supporting undergraduate students through a series of workshops, lectures and mentoring sessions on contemporary business issues in the context of the transition to an environmentally sustainable economy.
Since July 2021 Claudia also serves as a board member of the charity Carbon Copy and supports the organisation's work on public engagement and local action to tackle the climate crisis as a trustee.
Her past experiences include working for Stakeholder Forum, an international organisation dedicated to advancing sustainable development at a global level, as well as roles at the central bank in Germany and in the private sector in Spain.
