Jasmin Adebisi
Jasmin joined Policy Connect in January 2022 and works on the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Health. She is responsible for leading the delivery of the APPG for Health and Policy Connect Health projects.
Jasmin developed a keen interest in health and health inequalities and has been involved in various national and international projects, which have spanned across projects campaigning for Sickle Cell awareness in the UK. She was also a fellow for an African women led organisation tackling gender-based violence and violence against women and girls and has previously worked in an organisation focusing on tackling child labour in South Asia.
Jasmin joined Policy Connect as a Project Coordinator in January 2022 and became Policy Manager in December 2022. While at Policy Connect Jasmin organised several parliamentary roundtables, co-authored Guardian articles alongside MPs and represented Policy Connect at several conference including the World Health Summit in Berlin in October 2022.
Jasmin holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from the University of Essex and a Master in Public Health from Imperial College London. She wrote her Master's thesis in collaboration with the Westminster City Council on the attitudes and perceptions of vaccine barriers and enablers towards the Covid-19 vaccine in ethnic minority groups. She also completed a year abroad at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in the US, where she was able to receive a student delegate position at the United Nations headquarters in New York. Jasmin speaks three languages German, English and Yoruba.
Outside work, Jasmin enjoys baking cakes, trying out new recipes and travelling.
