The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Assistive and Accessible Technology (APPGAT) will hold a parliamentary roundtable on the Government’s proposed changes to the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA), chaired by Josh Fenton-Glynn MP.
The discussion will bring together leaders from the higher education sector to consider the impact of Department for Education proposals to remove funding for assistive software through DSA.
Participants will explore the potential additional costs and practical challenges the proposed changes could create for higher education institutions, and consider their implications for the future provision of assistive technology support.
