The All-Party Parliamentary Health Group (APHG) is holding a discussion on the renewal and delivery of the Women’s Health Strategy on Wednesday 25 March, 4:00–6:00pm in Houses of Parliament, chaired by Jessica Toale MP. 

The session will bring together parliamentarians, clinicians, policymakers and sector stakeholders to discuss progress on women’s health policy, including improving access to care, addressing health inequalities and reducing gynaecology waiting times. The discussion will also consider wider issues affecting women’s health and safety, including the regulation of non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

  • Dr Simon Opher MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Health Group
  • Professor Ranee Thakar, Consultant Obstetrician and Urogynaecologist
  • Shobhna Ladva, Head of Women’s Health UK and Ireland at Bayer
  • Mel Venables, Director of Policy and Communications at the Professional Standards Authority.
  • Rini Jones, Senior Policy and Delivery Manager, NHS Race & Health Observatory
