Policy Connect’s health team was delighted to attend the Women’s Health Innovation Summit as a Policy Partner in its inaugural edition of the UK series.

The Summit brought together over 120+ attendees which included Government, Regulatory and Policy advisers; Industry professionals, Academics and start up organisations to discuss and analyse the challenges and possibilities of this strategy, specifically through considering the opportunities for industry implementation.  

The Summit began with a keynote speech from Maria Caulfield MP- Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Mental Health and Women’s Health Strategy . This was followed by multiple panel discuss which included Professor Dame Lesley Regan, England’s Women’s health ambassador, Carolyn Harris Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Menopause and multiple industry speakers.

The All-Party Parliamentary Health Group was also delighted to welcome our Vice-Chair Baroness Finlay to the Summit.

Policy Connect’s Health team is looking forward to continuing addressing women’s health disparities as part of its upcoming programme this year.
