Lord Luce, key Parliamentary associate for the Chronic Pain Policy Coalition, highlights how the Coalition intends to ensure that chronic pain and health issues are at the forefront of policy decisions in light of the political changes ahead.

“After weeks of debate, the aftermath of the EU Referendum has produced immense political turmoil. But now a new Government has emerged under the leadership of Theresa May.

We now have an opportunity to make sure that health issues are in the forefront of policy making. We have many good people in and out of parliament devoted to the cause. For my part I shall continue to put chronic pain sufferers top of my priority by working even more effectively with the excellent Chronic Pain Policy Coalition. I look forward to leading a debate in the Lords this autumn on that subject.

I know that Policy Connect and the Chronic Pain Policy Coalition will be fighting for strengthening our health care for the benefit of all.”
